 Since Andrew Darnell started Lakes Garage Doors nearly 20 years ago we have been serving the areas of Blackpool and Fydle.
The Business was first set up and based in Lancaster where Andrew lived and for the first few years was based at home. As the business began to grow it became clear that a commercial premises would be required. Andrew looked at various premises before deciding on a small unit on White Cross Industrial Estate in Lancaster. The unit was fitted out with a small showroom and storage areas for the garage doors. The business continued to grow and in 2009 we were forced to reduce the size of the showroom to make room for an office and more storage space and the doors were coming in faster and faster.
As our business increased we found that we were seeing a large chunk of the sales coming from Wyre and Blackpool areas. In 2010 Lakes Garage Doors saw a new opportunity, there were some newly refurbished industrial units available in Garstang with space for signage visible from the A6.
We have now been located at our Garstang showroom for over six months it has significantly improved our access for garage doors Blackpool. We have a large showroom with 13 working doors on display including 4 sectional garage door, 4 up and over garage doors, 4 roller garage doors and one side hinged garage door and a further 8 static panels as well as many colour and finish samples.
With many residents of Blackpool using the A6 we have lots of people from the area calling in to the showroom to see and try the doors. We can give free no obligation advice on sizes and prices and offer a free site survey service. |
