 Roller garage doors or roller shutter doors were once only used for industrial or commercial applications. They have since been made more refined, compact and attractive for use in the domestic market.
The Roller Door design incorporates horizontal slats or laths which smoothly ascend and form a coil above the garage opening. Roller Doors are ideally suited to garages where it is not desirable to have the garage door extending into the garage for reasons such as loft access and storage, or where fixed items such as boilers may be in the way. These doors work well with arched doorways or, as with sectional doors, garages which open onto short driveways that are tight on parking space.

Remote control is standard with Seceuroglide garage doors, powered by the tried and tested Somfy tubular motor and comes with 2 handsets. The Seceuroglide also comes with safety edge as standard. A safety edge is a contact strip within the bottom rubber seal. When the safety edge senses contact the door will stop and reverse.
Security is of great importance to the people at SWS which is why the Seceuroglide comes with anti-lift locking and rolling-code technology to ensure top level security for your home.

 Un-insulated or single skin roller garage doors are made from corrugated steel sheets that roll around the coil. The door is balanced with two torsion springs to create a product that is as easy to open as it is to close.
The un-insulated roller garage door that we supply or supply and install is the Garage Door Systems Roller. The Standard Roller requires 330mm of headroom and the Mini-Roller requires only 229mm of headroom. If you have enough headroom for the Standard Roller it open and close more smoothly due to the angle the door comes off the larger coil.
Garage Door Systems Roller garage doors are suitable for manual or automatic use. The manual door uses tough lock bars that engage into the heavy steel guides. The door can be automated using the Liftmaster RDO 800 which comes with 2 handsets and a wireless wall station as well as a courtesy light and a 5 year warranty.
Single skin roller doors are manufactured using British Steel's industry-proven HP200 colourcoat. This durable plastisol coating on galvanized steel only requires an occasional cleaning to maintain its lustrous appearance. Nylon webbing on the curtain edges ensures years of quiet smooth running in the side tracks without the need for oil and grease.

This design is completed with a wipe-clean, highly durable finish. Insulated and un-insulated roller doors are available in a range of colours.
Space Saving: Unlike all other types of garage doors, Roller Doors do not intrude into the interior overhead garage space. As the door is opened it rolls neatly into the coiling curtain. Furthermore, Roller Door guide rails can be installed behind the door opening, on the inside of the garage wall - resulting in maximum 'drive-through' height and width.
