The 7m width was no problem as the Teckentrup door is available in sizes up to 8m x 6m
Carteck Supersize Standard Rib is specially designed for extra large garage openings up to 8 metres wide.
Our Carteck Supersize Standard Rib garage door pictured is identical in appearance to the domestic size Carteck GSW40-L Ribbed door from the outside – although on the inside, things are very different. The door runs on industrial specification gear to safely and efficiently carry the substantial weight of the door. All Carteck Supersize Standard Rib doors are electrically operated by a direct drive motor which comes with 2 remote handsets, and available in sizes over 5.5m and up to 8m wide.
The door is also sealed at the sides, top and also between the individual sections across the entire width. Intermediate seals create a thermal barrier that is very effective in reducing heat transmission, saving on the energy needed to maintain a pleasant temperature inside the garage. A rot-proof bottom seal made of elastic EPDM rubber profile sits against the floor and will compensate for minor variations in floor level to provide a seal against debris and draughts
With a garage door so big safety is paramount this is why all Carteck Supersize door come with a self monitoring safe edge as standard. The safe edge is housed within the bottom seal of the door, so as soon as the seal comes into contact with an obstruction the door stops and reverses.
Scratch-proof, 16mm double glazed, easy clean windows in attractive designs allow natural light into your garage. Each style is available with clear, opaque or frosted glazing. The window units are fitted with a polyurethane frame that is coloured to compliment or match the panel colour of the door.

Please Note: Where doors are exposed to direct sunlight, dark colours should be avoided. Dark coloured doors may undergo expansion due to heat absorption and this can affect the doors performance whilst in an expanded state. Such instances are not covered by the guarantee, however normal performance will return when the door has cooled.
