The Garador Georgian has deep crisp panel profiles making it a sturdy and solid door with an elegant appearance.
The Garador Georgian steel door is designed to provide maximum safety and security – with a fitted secure 2-point locking system to prevent unauthorised entry. An optional 4 point locking kit for each operating mechanism is available.
The Garador Georgian is available in either a canopy or a retractable operation. A canopy operating mechanism requires less space for the Garador Georgian to open, however, one-third of the door protrudes from the garage while open. Canopy doors are fitted with a zinc-coated torsion spring for durability and to give a clean, finished look and also comes as standard with an anti-drop device to prevent the door from crashing down in the event of a spring or cable failure. A retractable operating mechanism mean the Garador Georgian will open along horizontal tracks inside the garage and travel back into the garage space when opened. Retractable versions of the Georgian come with multiple spring cassettes and pivot arm covers to provide trap protection to reduce the risk of injuries, and a secure parking position to prevent the door from uncontrolled closing.
It comprises slam-shut latches and steel locking bar rods to increase the number of locking points. Our Retractable Plus option offers specially designed lifting arms including bottom spring brackets for narrow openings which allow for maximum use of the clear passage.
The Georgian is available in seven different colour options. Whatever colour you choose it is certain to enhance your home.

Sherwood, Georgian, Beaumont and Cathedral doors are available in Golden Oak and Rosewood foil coated timber effect with a solid chassis colour to match.
Black handle as standard, optional handles are available. Doors can be supplied undrilled and without handle and locking mechanism for use with electric operator (not available on Wentwood or Sherwood doors). This option makes the door purpose made and will therefore increase lead-time, please specify clearly on order.
White, brown and timber effect doors are supplied unwrapped as standard with optional poly-wrapping available. Coloured doors are supplied wrapped and include a touch up stick as standard. Side-hinged doors are provided wrapped as standard.
