Garador produce their doors up to 6m wide. At this width the panels come with wind braces on the back and commercial style rollers are used to cope with the weight of the door
The Garador Hazelbury has a classic design that integrates well into the architecture of both traditional and more modern housing.
Garador Hazelbury Finish
Considering the combination of long life and the low maintenance of the Garador Hazelbury, this door is a sound investment for the future. The quality of manufacture and inherent strength give this door a long life. As with all GRP doors, the surface finish of the Hazelbury timber effect GRP door can vary between a close grain (which looks like a carefully sanded wood) and a wide grain (which has a more rustic character).
Garador Hazelbury Mechanisms
When it comes to the decision of choosing an operating mechanism that is suitable for your garage is as important as choosing the right type. One-third of a canopy door protrudes from the garage while open, but it requires less space for opening within. Retractable mechanisms are ideally suited to automatic operation. A retractable door opens along horizontal tracks inside the garage and travels back into the garage space when opened.
An optional 4-point locking kit is available for both operating mechanisms. This provides extra security to what is already a very secure door. The 4-point lock comprises steel locking bar rods and slam-shut latches. Hence increasing the number of locking points. The Garador Hazelbury comes as standard with a secure 2-point locking preventing unauthorised entry and a high level of safety and security. An anti-drop device is fitted to prevent the door from crashing down in the event of a spring or cable failure. In addition, a zinc-coated torsion spring gives the door durability and a clean, finished look.
